I HATE TO SEE THIS ONE GO,,, ORIGINAL OWNER FIND, NEVER OFFERED FOR SALE TO THE PUBLIC BEFORE TODAY. ONE OF THE ONLY AND BEST EXAMPLES I HAVE SEEN. I have only ever seen one other nearly complete example ever up for sale- at the Allentown toy show a few years ago. I do not think it had the original wheels. The original wheels are here! This is the most deluxe version of the Liberty Playthings aircraft carriers. This has ALL 4 of the original Tootsie toy style slush metal aeroplanes on the deck! One plane has a bend to wings and one broken axle, still displays great as you can see. Each slush metal warplane has a cool painted tin propeller, none are missing. This version also has the front hinged deck that opens for storage. The original metal planes are not removable. One wind up prop motor doesnt hold anymore, it did when i first bought this,, the other motor works as it should. The motor release knob works. Both propellers are intact with all 3 blades intact on each. The one prop spins as it should when wound, the other clockwork motor needs adjustment to hold when wound. Doesnt affect display of course! Condition is all original with some light warping, separation to deck sides at some areas which could be easily glued and clamped if you want. I never messed with it, it is such a cool large toy i really enjoyed displaying this one. I will miss it for sure. IF YOU NEED MORE PHOTOS, I CAN ADD THEM. THIS EXAMPLE IS AMAZING, VERY VERY NICE!
