GI Joe USS Flagg Aircraft Carrier – Near Complete w/ Instructions – All Original. I know a lot of things photograph much better than they look in real life, but I think this one comes pretty darn close. Stored in containers for over 30 years, there is very little yellowing of the light plastic. It seems to be a bit more so at the lowest level, with far less above. Any other differences that I think noteworthy are listed below. Please note that, on the interior shot, most of the green electronics and one chair are not shown. I have attached a separate photograph of all of the electronic equipment, chairs, and a few other items. Also, some of the marks on the main deck are just stuff that I forgot to clean off before I took the photographs, although there are a few light surface blemishes and places where the gray plastic has lightened a bit. Nothing deep enough to call a scratch. I have attached a photograph so you can see the deck’s condition more clearly. Judging from the assembly instructions, I believe that the only missing items are. One of the deck clips. The Admiral’s launch. The Admiral himself, and his paper biography. The tow hook from the tow vehicle. The entire arrestor assembly. Possibly the arrestor hooks. I have two gray items that may be the hooks, but they look different than the manual’s drawing. The original box, any other papers. Any other action figures, although I think that only the Admiral was included in the box. Some missing parts on the sound unit (see photograph). It was barely played with, and there are no dings, dents or scratches. It doesn’t show up in the photographs, but the body decals are faded, and there is a wrinkled glossy covering over the large’99’ on the deck and some of the other deck decals. I was tempted to peel that glossy skin off, but did not. At the stern, about an inch or two of the black & white edge strip has detached from the deck. Some of the guns have one or two broken insertion tabs, but they sit with stability on the platform. The railing on one of the dark ladders is disconnected where it meets the steps at the bottom, but it rests where it should none-the-less. Also, I cannot get the sound unit to function. Note in the last photograph that the back of the loudspeaker is missing, and the’button’ area of the hand unit has something missing, as well.
