The design represented a major advance in Soviet fleet aviation over the Kiev -class carriers, which do not have full-length flight deck and could only launch VSTOL aircraft. Kit sprue count: 24 sprues, plus a lower hull, upper hull, waterline plate. A full lower hull or waterline flat bottom is provided molded in red plastic. Black mounting base is included with nameplate for full hull display. Detailed flight decks and display stand. Metal hull frame and screws are included for assembly.
