Presenting for sale the GI Joe U. Flagg Aircraft Carrier, the pièce de résistance of all childhood toys. Nearly complete including the original Admiral Keel Haul action figure with identification card and original assembly and label placement instructions. A few random pieces are missing or cracked, and I’ve listed those below. I’m the original owner of this Flagg, and have had this stored in a few attics over the last 34 years. The overall condition is good considering the age. I cleaned and assembled it, noted the missing pieces and defects, and listed them here. All other pieces are included. I’ve left the Flagg assembled for now in case anyone has questions. Please feel free to contact me. 1 Deck Clip (15 included; only one missing). 1 NV Base (one included, one missing; both caps are included). Davit Arm (one included, one missing). Admiral Keel Haul’s Gun. One of the three Naval Gun Bodies is slightly cracked where the Gun Barrel projects but is barely noticeable and the gun assembly function is not affected. One leg of the Combat Computer is broken, and stuck in the Second Deck floor. The Combat Computer can still be put into place, but leans a bit if disturbed. The piece of the Superstructure Top where the ladder attaches is warped a bit. If the ladder is completely attached to the Superstructure Top it is crooked, but if you just lean it against the deck it looks good. Not 100% Sure about. The stern side of the Superstructure where the Superstructure Bottom, Second Deck, and Second Deck Wall come together is difficult to keep together as it is being assembled. I remember this being frustrating when I put this together many years ago, and I don’t see anything broken or warped, so I think this might be a design shortcoming and not a defect. Once it is assembled it is fairly solid. The arrestor bases don’t clip very firmly into the flight deck. Again, I don’t see anything broken, and they are both exhibiting the same behavior, so I don’t think this is a defect. One other note I’ll make is that several of the decals were improperly placed by my impatient ten-year-old self and/or are now in bad shape or missing. And now you know the condition of this U.
