A rare find here and in very good condition! Missing few screws and the part that goes on top, and 2 wheels. Measures 37″ long and 9.5″ wide.

Vintage Tin Litho Aircraft Carrier w/Elevator on Wheels by Argo w/14 used Planes. The planes, jets and aircrafts are all used in different good, bad and ugly condition. The aircraft carrier is tin with lithographic designs of a battleship 414. There is a working elevator and the toy has 4 wooden wheels on the bottom. All in great working condition. There is rust noted on the deck as seen in the photos. The item has not been cleaned and has good amount of dust on it. We don’t clean the item to maintain their vintage integrity! Extremely are “Argo” Company, USA tin litho aircraft carrier. I can find “no” history on Argo toys. Most likely promo model for a company looking to make toys. Very common for Los Angeles toys in the 1950’s – 1960’s. Overall near mint condition. Radar screen is broken from tin base will need minor repair or display as is. There may have been spring loaded launchers, I can’t be sure. Both plains stamped “Argo” on wings. Very clean condition, wheels are great. No rust, very minor abrasions from storage. Super bright and terrific graphics. Approximately 33″ by 10″ by 10 tall. Please ask any questions.
