We are extremely happy to list this item. This fantastic, beautiful base depicts a. Aircraft Carrier Flight Deck in 1/72 scale. The Diorama base is made by Basekraft, an Indonesian company, which creates small miracles for displaying your beautiful models. This base is a new, upgraded version of the older release. More specifically, the new FD3.2 Flight Deck Diorama Base is an upgraded iteration of FD3.1 base, featuring boasting intricately detailed pad-eyes and enhanced overall quality resulting in a more refined and authentic aircraft carrier representation. Pad-eyes are the holes on an aircraft carrier deck which serve as attachment points for the chains used to secure aircrafts and other equipment on the deck, preventing them from moving during high winds or rough seas. The dimensions of the Deck are : Length 50cm, Width 30cm (or 19.7inch x 11.8inch). The Flight Deck is. Ready-made, and it is made of resin and woodboard (which is durable for years). The quality is fantastic and the pad-eyes look like real 3d holes. (Look closely at the pictures 16-19). The Flight Deck is constructed as a whole. The only element you will have to put into place, is the Jet Blast Deflector (JBD), at the rear end of the carrier deck. You have the possibility to have the Deflector either opened, or closed. Please kindly note that these art creations and they are not industrial products. However, in the unlike event that something may break during transportation, please note that you can easily fix it using small amount of glue. The plane, the personell and the equipment that are shown at some pictures, are only for demonstration and are not included in the listing. This Flight Deck will give life to your 1/72 models.
