This is a magnificent Bluejacket 1/192 scale kit of the USS Gambier Bay (CVE 73). The Gambier Bay saw action at Saipan as part of the famous “Taffy III Battle Group”. This excitingly detailed kit comes with pre-carved hull, cast Britannia metal fittings, photoetched brass fittings, booklet of instructions and full size plans and planes. The finished model is over 32 long. The planes are finely cast in resin with brass props, landing gear and decals. I have included an additional 5 extra Wildcats and 1 TBM for a total of 12 planes.
