This vintage motorized toy aircraft carrier is missing the original instruction booklet but otherwise appears to be complete. The set includes over 100 men and accessories, 21 aircraft and missiles, and an antenna attachment. The impressive plastic wheeled carrier retains its original stickers, a working plane launcher, and a functioning catapult. However, the rotating gun (missile launcher) is the only carrier component that is not operational. Electronics have not been tested. The set shows signs of age, including discoloration and brittle plastic parts. The original box exhibits edge and corner wear with, discoloration, surface tears, staining, tape remnants, and writing. The electric components are untested. The box measures approximately 38.5 by 10.5 by 8.5 inches.

This is a Remco Mighty Matilda aircraft carrier battery operated toy from the 60’s. It is very clean, has all the decals. The elevators work well along with the forward control and alarm. It has most of the sailors and planes and a couple helicopters. Also has a missile which are hard to find and the battery box bracket. This was one of the best toys from the 60’s and would display well. It’s in played with condition but in great shape. Will NOT come with the original box. Get ready to get underway!!

Remco Vintage 1960s Mighty Matilda Aircraft Carrier Working W Box & 28 Navy Crew figures & 1 raft. Some issues, damage to front, not bad but there & needs a new radar tower. Repro’s are available online. It Works, Launcher works (I put in a rubber band, nothing fancy), Bell works, chugs along forward & elevators go up & down. The only issue is the bell switch likes to move to the ringing position by itself when the motor runs… Box shows some wear but is still very solid & displayable. BTW : IT’S BIG 37INCHES.
