This is the mighty USS Flagg. I was that lucky snot nosed 80s kid that woke up Christmas morning to one of these. Now that joy can be yours! Its overall in decent shape. All the big pieces are there. Also included is the original box. The box is rough shape, but I figured someone out there might appreciate it. This is a mostly complete USS Flagg with the original box. Ive used the Hooded Cobra Commander 788 Youtube video as my guide to assembly. Based on that, below are the list of odds and ends that are missing. A handful of deck clips. Upper deck rail piece. Orange car to pull the fuel car. 1 interior wall piece. Some bits of the radio tower. And, alas, Admiral Keel Haul. The megaphone is included, but doesn’t work. Main truss support main, one tab snapped, one tab glued. Main truss c one snapped tab. Long elevator support one tab snapped, corner chip. 2 elevator side support one has 1 tab snapped. Superstructure bottom big crack. Second deck wall one tab snapped. Bomb and missile rack. Davit base two tabs stressed. Combat computer both tabs glued. 2 Arrestor basses and string between both, one has tab snapped, wrong string. 2 Bulkhead door one door has two tabs snapped. Fuel trailer missing hose and 2 nozzels. Crane with rope and hook two tabs snapped. Crane engine access cover. Tow vehicle engine cover. This is a huge box, it weighs 40 pounds and is 46x33x12. USS Flagg Aircraft Carrier. This is a good condition USS Flagg. I’ve tried to take plenty of photos, twelve of which can be seen here. The rest of the photos can be seen here. Includes Admiral Keel-Haul with his pistol and file card. The card is a bit discolored, but the figure and pistol are nearly perfect. Tight joints and clean paint. Includes tow vehicle, trailer, and hitch. Includes arrestor string and arrestor hook, both in terrific condition. Includes Admiral’s Launch lifeboat. Includes Microphone and megaphone. Note that the switch appears to be faulty, causing it to only work in speaking mode, not in siren or other modes. Includes all deck pins and both superstructure pins. The instructions have brown stains near the top and tears around the creases. Missing some pieces: Side skirt, Mast cap, Fan tail deck railing, Crane engine compartment cover, Foam end of megaphone. Yellowing on light grey parts. Some decals are lifting up, and some are dirty. Very small crack on super structure top where it clips onto superstructure bottom. Small piece broken off of Bulkhead wall D. One peg of the mast is broken, but the piece that should connect to it is included. Every boy’s dream… It was my dream, anyway, but I didn’t dare ask my parents. This thing was ninety bucks back in the day! Besides that, at seven and a half feet long, it would barely have fit in my bedroom. A couple years ago, my dream came true when I bought this U. Flagg from a soldier at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He was a collector and had bought it from a friend of his. This is a thing of beauty. Includes Admiral Keel-Haul with his pistol and file card. The card is a bit discolored, but the figure and pistol are nearly perfect. Includes tow vehicle, trailer, and hitch. Includes arrestor string and arrestor hook, both in terrific condition.
