Although toy claims to make sound we make NO GUARANTEE that it will work. Box states that the toy does come with batteries, due to the age their could be some corrosion if the vendor put the batteries in the compartment and not loose in the package. The tape on one side of the box is no longer holding it due to its age. See photos for condition of item.

This vintage motorized toy aircraft carrier is missing the original instruction booklet but otherwise appears to be complete. The set includes over 100 men and accessories, 21 aircraft and missiles, and an antenna attachment. The impressive plastic wheeled carrier retains its original stickers, a working plane launcher, and a functioning catapult. However, the rotating gun (missile launcher) is the only carrier component that is not operational. Electronics have not been tested. The set shows signs of age, including discoloration and brittle plastic parts. The original box exhibits edge and corner wear with, discoloration, surface tears, staining, tape remnants, and writing. The electric components are untested. The box measures approximately 38.5 by 10.5 by 8.5 inches.

VERY RARE Sealed Revell 1/530 USS ESSEX Angled Deck Aircraft Carrier. Commissioned in December 1942, Essex participated in several campaigns in the Pacific Theater of Operations, earning the Presidential Unit Citation and 13 battle stars. Decommissioned shortly after the war, she was modernized with an angled flight deck, steam catapults, provisions to support modern naval jet aircraft, modernized island superstructure, and recommissioned in the early 1950s as an attack carrier (CVA), eventually becoming an antisubmarine aircraft carrier (CVS). In her second career, she served mainly in the Atlantic, playing a role in the Cuban Missile Crisis. She also participated in the Korean War, earning four battle stars and the Navy Unit Commendation. She was the primary recovery carrier for the Apollo 7 space mission. She was decommissioned for the last time in 1969. Produced in 1957, Revell created this kit of the USS ESSEX in her modernized configuration as an Attack Aircraft Carrier. A very RARE kit, photographs of the completed kit are very difficult to find. The photo examples of a completed kit come from a rebuild of the ESSEX as her sistership USS HANCOCK CVA-19. The kit was obtained shrink wrapped. Features of this kit include. Assembled kit length 20 inches (508 mm). Grey color injection molded plastic with full lower hull. Positionable Port and Starboard elevators. Forward elevator is removable to display in lowered configuration. F-8 CRUSADER supersonic Fighter jets. F-11F TIGER first US naval supersonic Fighter jets. F9F-6 COUGAR swept wing Fighter jets. AD SKYRAIDER Propeller Attack aircraft. A4 SKYHAWK jet Fighter/Attack aircraft. HUP-2 RETRIEVER Rescue/Utility helicopter. Twin barrel 3-inch guns. Moveable hangar-level aircraft crane. Exterior hangar-level bulkheads with numerous molded on details. Exterior frame of elevator that carried pilots from the hangar level to the flight deck. Forward hangar level refueling/cargo crane. Aircraft tow tractors and Crash Crane (“Tilly”). Waterslide decals with detailed markings. Flight deck landing strips. Flight deck forward dashed line aircraft position markings. Deck edge elevator markings. Detailed illustrated assembly, decal placement and painting guide. Introducing the DeckJetz USS Nimitz CVN 68 model toy, complete with 10 die-cast planes. This extremely rare and highly sought-after set is perfect for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The model carrier measures 30 3/4 inches in length and is a must-have for any aviation or naval history enthusiast. The DeckJetz USS Nimitz CVN 68 model toy is a great addition to any collection and is sure to impress. With its intricate details and high-quality construction, this model is sure to last for years to come. Whether you’re a collector or just looking for a fun and unique toy, this model is sure to delight. This appears to have been manufactured in 2002, for Target stores. The original packaging shows a lot of shelf wear with rips, tears, permanent marker scribbles, bends and tape residue. This model/toy doesn’t appear to be played with, the bridge still has original plastic bag/wrapping. Planes show no signs of use either. We removed all contents to take photos. Deck elevator does go up and down correctly. A piece of the flight deck is removable, which provides a storage area for the planes. Jet blast detectors open and retract into the deck! Please see pics, which are worth a 1000 words! We will do our best to make it right! It will be well packed to help ensure your collectible is delivered safely. We also recycle clean, used plastic grocery shopping bags for padding in our packaging which works just as well as bubble wrap!
