RARE Vintage Aurora USS Forrestal Aircraft Carrier 1/600 Store Display Model Kit. Beautiful 100% original factory built and painted plastic model kit store display, made circa 1956. Mounted on a painted wood base and covered by a clear acetate plastic dome which is secured to the base by staples, and also includes the original paper sign. The model is mint with nothing loose or broken. The dome has a couple of minor cracks due to shrinkage and one staple is missing. As you can see, this fantastic kit makes for a tremendous display which would certainly enhance anyone’s collection. I would strongly recommend that the display be picked up in person if at all possible.
