Here is a fantastic almost MINT Remco Matilda. These are big boats and have a pretty sophisticated mechanism so most of the ones you see do not work. It has a dual-purpose transmission. The wheels power it forward and you can make the bells ring as an option to the movement. You switch over the transmission and you can now make the elevators go up and down. In addition, the mast turns although this one has a sweet spot that you sometimes need to turn it to get it to rotate. Also, I put in a very expensive rubber band and now the launcher works very well. It has the battery bar retainer and one tab that holds down the conning tower is missing but it locks into place without it. This set includes a bunch of planes, 2 helicopters, the tow truck and the very rare side missile. They are generally missing because Mikey shot it and it got stuck in the couch and it was never to be seen again. In addition, there are a bunch of men including four scuba guys and the life raft. This set may not have every crewman or vehicle but it is certainly has a lot of them. You also get a copy of the two-sided instructions, a unique poster that only I make and a really nice, almost MINT box. If there was not some old tape residue on it then it would be MINT. It has all of its flaps, is very structurally sound with typical age coloring.
