Vintage Zippo windproof lighter engraved for the USS Kearsarge (CVA-33), 1957. Front features a perspective view of the Kearsarge at sea with US Naval Aviator wings above and the text 1 957 / U. Deep-etched engraving is legible and detailed throughout. Chrome-plated brass body with significant pocket wear – chrome thinning and wearing through to brass on edges and high-friction areas, consistent with age and use. Hinge is partially disconnected (see photos). Flint wheel sparks with a fresh flint inserted. No major dents or deep gouges. No box or packaging included.
